Waking up unbelievably shattered from a night of constant interruptions I can't honestly say I was in the best of moods. In fact my mood pretty much sucked big time. But it was quite nice waking up to a dog to snuggle up to (and I don't mean my boyfriend).
Took the lovely ickle dog for a walk in a nearby field only to realise she just didn't seem to like being dominated by me. It appears even dogs can give me the run around...
In the afternoon we decided to go watch Ted in the cinema in Basildon. Only the weather decided to join me in my grumpy mood and the heavens opened. I'm pretty sure I made a personal request for it NOT to rain while I am down here but nevermind.
The movie was good though and really did have my emotions everywhere somehow even if it was for a potty mouthed drugged up stuffed bear...The most bizarre thing though is that I realised that this was the first comedy I'd seen in the cinema :-| and I loved that people genuinely did laugh out loud!
A quick trip to McDs for tea (score! Two days running!) and we were about to embark on an unwarranted adventure as we didn't know where the bus stop was to get home! So in my new trainers, in the pouring rain we decided to walk into Basildon centre itself where I noticed a few 'architectural gems' which i'll upload when I get home at some point.
So after a bit of a long walk, we finally managed to get home and snuggled up to watch the paralympic opening ceremony. Although it wasn't on the same scale as last months one it still had that wow factor and I wish all the competitors the best of luck :)
However, right now I must get off this and continue recuperating from a hangover...
