Imagine this scene...
The snow is coming down non-stop. The centimetres are growing, and your wellies are sunk to their kneecaps. The sky is white, the land is white, the children are white. They're sledging down the hill with smiles plastered on their face because they have the day off.
And I get a text.
"Oh I have something to tell you"
"What?!"
"Tell you when I see you"
Along comes a figure battling against the snow, hood up and looking very much like an eskimo.
And we're heading back home cos our toes are like ice. I can't move mine. But we're holding hands.
"So you want to know what I have to tell you?"
"Yes"
"Well you know how I always say that it's the smallest of insignificant things that cause a massive life change? Well today I tried moving my car and it wouldn't budge; it wouldn't budge even after I shoveled the snow away. Then the postman came. And I had to walk the dog. And I was getting so angry. So angry at the snow. And then I thought 'why am I so angry at the snow?', then I realised, it's because I couldn't see you. Then I realised...I'm falling in love with you"
And I turn to look at him. The falling snow in my eyes, the whiteness around me. The kids shouts and giggles were lost to me, it was just me and him in the snow. And I go "Me too" and dive in for a kiss. It's just me and him. And then the snowball in my back and the kid shouting 'EWW THEY'RE KISSING"
And reality returned.
Think I'm in love <3
